Inspirational learning spaces

Yesterday, our school had a celebration day that incorporated Book Week, Mathematics Week and Science and Technology Week. It was such a fun day - book parade, technology challenge, reading rampage, maths mania...the kids had a ball!  

My daughter Marley (aged 5), who attends the school, is absolutely buzzing about the whole thing. It makes me remember how important these types of days are in schools. She has woken up this Saturday morning and has continued on her quest to design and create the most creative and stable tower she can make (this was the technology component of the day).

This has obviously created a spark in her and now she is developing her imagination, critical thinking and creativity, in our very living room, which I love! A budding engineer perhaps?
